We are pleased to announce the CygNet version 9.8 software release, now available for download from the Weatherford CygNet Download Site. We encourage you to upgrade your CygNet installations as soon as possible to access the newly available features and begin using the added functionality.
CygNet v9.8 provides many new and updated features for your use including: in CygNet Measurement, a 64-bit FMS service and 64-bit FMS Explorer (32-bit FMS Explorer is also provided), additional liquid data support has been added, incorporating API 11.1, Microsoft OLE DB Driver for SQL Server support is now provided, a new Thin Device Data command was added, a new parameter in Request Data commands and option in Update Normalization Views commands is available, and improvements have been made to several controls; in CygNet Core, a new set of Deviation for Time alarm calculation types was added to support meeting the requirements of the PHMSA rule “Notification of potential rupture” (192.635(a)), several new .NET CygNet.API libraries are now provided to aid in programmatic access to CygNet services, components, and data (including CygNet.API.AccessControl, CygNet.API.Devies, CygNet.API.Points, CygNet.API.Schedules), CygNet added the ability for the General Notification Service (GNS) to resend notification emails that previously failed to send, and you can now suppress replication of DDS Transaction deletions caused by the background transaction scrubbing process; in CygNet EIEs and Devices, Emerson ROC EIE and Emerson ROCPlus EIE enhancements support updated Emerson firmware for FloBoss 107, ROC800, and ROC800L remote devices plus additional enhancements, hourly history data retrieval is now supported for BSAP 3300 devices for DCP, a new Configurable Data Group data group was added to the Allen Bradley CIP EIE, the DNP3 Emerson EIE now provides FMS support for FB1x and FB2x series devices, the IoT Sparkplug EIE now supports the backfill of missing history data and has three new command types (DgHist, History, and UisCmd), the Totalflow EIE now uses version 3.15 of the ABB Totalflow toolkit API (tcidll.dll) and has the ability to get Mass data into the “History – Daily” and “History – Log Period” data groups for Coriolis meters; and many more updates, modifications, and fixes throughout the CygNet software offerings.
